Telcos are barely done rolling out 5G networks — and they’re already talking about ‘5.5G’

(CNBC) 5G Advanced, or the name for the next stage of 5G, is the next evolution of mobile networks. Telecommunications networks require standards. These are globally accepted technical rules that define how a technology works and its interoperability around the world — interoperability is the ability for two or more systems to work together.
