West Palm Beach (HedgeCo.Net)- In order to increase the economic cooperation between Arab Nations and Greater China, the Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ARABCHAM) has appointed hedge fund Guru Dr A S Johan as its Vice President.
Dr. A S Johan is known for his articles on the economics of the IPOs of som major hedge funds and private equity management companies which initially drew some criticism from the financial markets.
However, the recent poor performance of some of the shares of the said IPOs have since validated Dr. Johan’s predictions that shares in some hedge fund companies may not be best for the general investor.
Dr Johan also provides management consulting services to institutions and high net worth investors looking to launch their own private label hedge funds, private equity and venture capital operations.
ARABCHAM has recently also developed many services and events including Shariah compliance certification, investor road shows to and from the Middle East and also the sponsorship of seminars and events relevant to its membership base of Middle Eastern and Greater China corporations and investors.
