DealBook – Hedge funds have a reputation for attracting the best and brightest on Wall Street, but the industry has a knack for pulling heavyweights from academia, too.
The latest is Thomas J. Sargent of New York University, this year’s co-recipient of the Nobel in economic science, who recently signed on as a consultant for Hutchin Hill, a multistrategy hedge fund with $1.5 billion in assets under management.
