Description
We are seeking a hedge fund sales professional to perform in a capital raising capacity for the suite of products offered by HedgeCo Securities, LLC. This individual will be involved in all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting for new investors, pitching potential investors and closing new business. Additionally, the candidate will have the responsibility of identifying and marketing new products. We are targeting institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, fund of funds and private banks.
The candidate may also have the opportunity to market prime brokerage services to potential clients. This area requires an intense knowledge of prime brokerage platforms and systems as well as product and trading knowledge.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of alternative investment sales experience (hedge fund, fund of funds or private equity will be considered; additionally, exceptional sales experience related to a specific product may also be considered) with a proven track record of successfully raising capital
- Must be Series 7 and 63 licensed
- Must have a strong academic record from a top institution
- Must be willing to wear many hats and be involved in all aspects of the sales process
- Must be entrepreneurial with an aggressive sales mentality
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
