UBS Approached by 50 Potential Hedge-Fund Startups
Friday, October 16, 2009 : PermalinkBloomberg – UBS AG, the largest Swiss bank, has been approached by about 50 potential hedge-fund startups in the Asia-Pacific region as the industry recovers from record losses in 2008.
“We are tracking 50 different groups across Asia-Pacific who are talking to us about starting up,” said David Gray, UBS’s head of prime services in the region.
