(Harvest) Over the last few years, Russell Investments’ manager research team has conducted an annual ESG survey of global fixed income managers. From this survey, we’ve observed a rapid growth in the awareness of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. Crucially, this has fostered a widespread willingness among managers to incorporate ESG factors into their investment processes. Today, we put the spotlight on why—and how—fixed income managers are integrating ESG factors.
