Staits Times – Talk that tougher regulation of hedge funds and other financial firms in Europe is driving talented staff from Britain to Asia is premature, according to the Lord Mayor of the City of London.
Mr Nick Anstee, who is here as part of his week-long tour of Asia, told The Straits Times yesterday that some of the smaller hedge fund operators in London have moved to Switzerland but the larger players are staying put.
