(CNBC) U.S. stock futures rose Thursday night as traders watched to see if the S&P 500 will tumble into bear market territory. S&P 500 futures traded 0.62% higher, while Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1%. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 188 points, or 0.6%.
