Hedge Funds Abandon Ex-Darling Valeant and Other 13F Highlights

(Bloomberg) Forty-five days after the end of each quarter, investors scour the quarterly filings of hedge fund managers to glean trading ideas and suss out trends. Here are some highlights from the latest round of 13F filings, which list the U.S. holdings of money managers as of March 31: Valeant vanishes from a lot of portfolios. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. is a hedge fund darling no more. What used to be one of the industry’s most popular holdings has fallen out of favor with just about every major hedge fund holder save Pershing Square Capital Management’s William Ackman.
