Hedge funds start 2022 on a down note after strong 2021

(Hedgeweek) Inflation, market volatility and geopolitical tensions in Europe appear to have taken a toll on the global hedge fund business in January, with aggregate returns coming in at -1.89 per cent for the first month of the year, according to eVestment’s January 2022 hedge fund performance data.
