Hedge fund firm 36 South to move funds to Ireland

Reuters – British hedgefund firm 36 South Capital Management plans to move its funds to Ireland to cut costs, providing a boost to the troubled country after its 85 billion euro ($112 billion) bailout.

The firm, which manages around $130 million in assets and which trades options to try and make money from the impact of rare events, told Reuters the move would make it easier to deal with fund administrators and reduce paperwork.
