(Bloomberg) CQS Management Ltd. hired Anthony Wainer as a portfolio manager at the London-based hedge fund from U.S. competitor Moore Capital Management.Wainer joined the $13 billion firm in September, CQS spokesman Michael Rummel said Tuesday. He follows Christopher Callan who moved to CQS from Moore Capital earlier this year.
Wainer worked for almost two years at Louis Bacon’s Moore Capital before leaving in August, according to the Financial Conduct Authority’s register of individuals approved to work in finance. Prior to that he spent more than nine years at Morgan Stanley, where he specialized in leveraged finance trading, his LinkedIn profile says.
