Stakeholders seek wider choice from pension fund

Reuters – A potential 150 billion pounds fund covering British workers without pensions from 2012 should invest in alternative assets like property and hedge funds, a consultation of future stakeholders showed on Wednesday.

Private equity and commodities should also be part of the investment strategy implemented by The Personal Accounts, a defined contribution pension fund to be launched in three years to encourage pension savings.
