HSBC Exec Found Guilty of Masterminding $3.5bn Scam

(New York Post) Looks like this Wall Street pro didn’t get away with it.Disgraced HSBC executive Mark Johnson, who was caught on tape bragging he “got away with” ripping off a giant energy company, was found guilty on Monday of masterminding a $3.5 billion front-running scam involving foreign currencies.

Johnson, 51, was found guilty on nine of 10 counts of conspiracy and wire fraud by a jury in Brooklyn federal court after a four-week trial.
