Hedge funds gain +0.77% in July

(Opalesque) Hennessee Group LLC announced that the Hennessee Hedge Fund Index increased +0.77% for the month (+3.10% YTD), while the S&P 500 was up +3.60% (+5.54% YTD), the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased +4.71% (+2.23% YTD), and the NASDAQ Composite Index gained +2.15% (+11.33% YTD). Bonds were barely positive for the month, as the Barclays Aggregate Bond Index increased by +0.02%, (-1.60% YTD).
