NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 24, 2003–Commerzbank Securities has appointed the following individuals to its New York office:
— Thomas Billiard joins as a senior salesperson, Derivatives
focused on Interest Rate Derivatives Products. Formerly with
Barclays Capital Inc. as associate director, he will report to
Kumar Doraiswami, head of Institutional Sales in New York for
Commerzbank Securities.
Other previous assignments include Bear, Stearns & Co, Bankers
Trust Company and MacDonald & Company Securities. Mr. Billiard
holds an MBA degree from Case Western Reserve University and a
BA degree from Oberlin College.
— Richard Misiano was appointed senior repo trader, reporting to
John Kolb, head of the Derivatives Securities Finance
Department in New York. Mr. Misiano was previously with
Westdeutsche Landesbank, New York as director, Fixed Income
Desk.
Other previous assignments include UBS, Citicorp Securities
and Kidder Peabody & Co. Mr. Misiano holds a MBA degree from
Long Island University and a BA degree from the State
University of New York, Stony Brook.
— Michael Devlin joins as a third party derivatives salesperson
reporting to Sam Gottesman, regional head of Derivatives
Sales. Previously, he was a vice president with Trautman
Wasserman & Co.
Other assignments have included Lehman Brothers Inc. and
R.D.S. Acquisition Corp. Mr. Devlin holds a MBA degree from
the University of Maryland and a BS degree from Old Dominion
University.
— Jonathon Read becomes a structurer reporting to George O’Dowd,
head of Structured Credit Trading in New York. He was
previously a hedge fund manager with Esperia Capital
Management Ltd., London.
Other past assignments included Goldman Sachs International.
Dr. Read holds a PhD and BA degrees from the University of
Cambridge, UK.
