Reverse Merger – Laurence Isaacson was convicted in connection with the Lancer Group hedge fund fraud scandal. The Florida stockbroker joined Lancer fund manager Eric Hauser and Florida shell company owner Milton Barbarosh, who pleaded guilty earlier. Barbarosh is best known for his company Stanton Leigh Group.
A Miami federal jury found that Isaacson held a financial interest in a number of shell companies that the Lancer funds used as vehicles to inflate the value of the shells.
