Asset manager Schroders take control of Swiss impact investor BlueOrchard

(Opalesque) British asset manager Schroders announced that it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Swiss impact investor BlueOrchard Finance for an undisclosed sum. Zurich-based BlueOrchard, founded in 2001, is a player in microfinance and impact investing. It claims to be the world’s first commercial manager of microfinance debt investments.
