Conn. hedge fund manager pleads guilty to fraud

Fox Business – The manager of a Connecticut hedge fund on Wednesday pleaded guilty to six charges including securities fraud and conspiracy for a scheme federal prosecutors said involved hundreds of millions of dollars and lasted more than a decade.

Paul Greenwood, a principal at WG Trading Co and WG Trading Investors, also agreed to forfeit at least $331 million that he and others misappropriated and diverted to make an investment not disclosed to investors, prosecutors said.
