The award praised Gartmore Investment team�s success in developing a division totally dedicated to managing single-manager hedge funds. The decision of which manager gets the yearly award, is made by the editorial board of the Alternative Investment News, a publication of the Institutional Investor. Various criteria are used by the board to decide which manager earns the award, including but not limited to �range of products offered, successful branding, and growth in assets under management.�
