(Daily Alts) Calamos Launches Single Manager Global Long-Short FundWhile not new to the liquid alternatives market, Calamos is in the market with a new long/short fund that is an outgrowth of its September 2015 acquisition of Phineus Partners, a San Francisco-based global long/short manager founded in 2002 by Michael Grant. The new fund, the Calamos Phineus Long/Short Fund (MUTF:CPLSX), debuted on April 5 and is a globally focused long/short equity fund.
