MarketWatch – When investors hear the words “hedge fund,” several possible thoughts come to mind. Among them: deceit, scam, blowup, leverage, cloak-and-dagger, excessive fees and speculative.
Like any other, the hedge fund industry has had its saints and sinners. To be clear, I am not a fan of the hedge-fund business. What I am a fan of is hedged investing.
