Financial Times – Meet the new face of the London hedge fund: the organisation man.
The old face of the London hedge fund operator might be characterized as the cowboy – the founder who built his firm around his gifts as a trader or manager of a particular strategy.

The hirings have altered the constitution of the industry, elevating executives, many of whom have never run money, to the top ranks of the hedge fund world.
