The alliance will offer high net worth investors in Canada and some institutions access to top-performing global hedge fund managers, offering them the opportunity to switch their invested capital between their choice of hedge fund managers. This scenario provides tax-deferment potentials.
According to the report, Van Hedge Advisors International will be the manager of the new fund of hedge funds, such arrangement will benefit from Van�s many years of experience, pioneering developments in the hedge fund industry.
Van�s data includes returns of offshore hedge funds as well as those of onshore funds.
