The Mellon strategy is managed by portfolio manager, Michael W. Hawthorne, leader of the Mellon HBV’s investment team. The portfolio offers a diversified vehicle of 20 to 30 investments within North America, including: General corporate events, Aggressive arbitrage, and distressed situations. The discipline according to the release �is constructed with a strict application of risk control measures at the investment and portfolio levels.� William F. �Mickey� Harley, president and CEO of Mellon HBV, oversees the discipline.
