FSA insider dealing probe focuses on trades made ahead of cash calls

Telegraph – Investigators are looking into trades carried out ahead of capital raisings by Barclays, Segro and Taylor Wimpey. In all, it is examining suspicious trading in the shares of 15 firms.

Last week the FSA arrested seven people after carrying out 16 raids across the City. The financial watchdog is now understood to be examining spikes in trading that occurred in the lead up to the fundraisings: two from Barclays and one each from Taylor Wimpey and Segro.
