WEST PALM BEACH, FL (HEDGECO.NET) – Asset Alliance Corp. has hired Ed G. Robertiello to assist the firm to build up its Fund of Funds operations, according to a released statement. Robertiello in hisnew role is designated as the Senior Managing Director of Investments; he would also oversee allocation strategies as well as manager allocation, and due diligence protocols. Robertiello will bereporting to Bruce H. Lipnick, president and chief executive of Asset Alliance, working out of the firm’s New York offices.
Mr. Robertiello previously worked at Blackstone Asset Management as managing director, overseeing the firm�s over US$ 8 billion in fund of funds operations. Robertiello also worked with the team looking into the California Public Employees� Retirement System, a US$1 billion hedge fund program.
Officials of Asset Alliance said they are looking forward to Mr. Robertiello, to help the firm build upon their fund of funds success and ultimately to increase the firm’s capabilities and offerings in its efforts to increase its institutional managed assets.
