Bloomberg – Porsche SE won home-court advantage in a $195 million dispute with a hedge fund as judges ruled a trial can take place in Stuttgart even though the carmaker omitted the zip code when it sent its lawsuit to Cayman Islands-based Pendragon (Master) Fund Ltd.
The decision may pave the way for a legal fight over Porsche’s failed 2008 bid to acquire Volkswagen AG to take place in its German hometown rather than Pendragon’s choice of London.
