Hedge Funds Review – DMS Management, a management company based in the Cayman Islands focused on providing independent directors for the hedge fund industry, has opened a representative office in Hong Kong. Supported by DMS’ Cayman, the office will provide localised client services. DMS’s Hong Kong team is led by director David Lyons. Previously, Lyons served as a senior associate in the company’s Cayman office where he was heavily involved in business development throughout Asia. Ties between Hong Kong and Cayman are being increasingly tightened. Last year the Cayman government re-opened a representative office in the territory. Many of Cayman’s international law firms also have a presence in Hong Kong.
