Brian Haskel Joins Corporate Practice at Tannenbaum Helpern as Partner

Mr. Haskel, 45, will have senior responsibility for further developing the firms corporate practice, working closely with the financial services and the real estate teams on capital formationtransactions, venture capital transactions, private placement transactions and restructuring transactions. He will also advise on alternative investments, private equity and issues involvingSecurities Exchange Commission (SEC) law and regulation.

His addition will be instrumental as we continue to expand into complexcorporate, private equity, real estate, and merger and acquisition work to meet the demands of our clients in the US and globally.

Mr. Haskel has more than sixteen years of corporate experience with broad transactional practice experience including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, investment funds andgeneral corporate law. Mr. Haskel was most recently Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Mr. Haskel received a Bachelor ofScience in Management Information Systems from State University of New York at Albany and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Law Review.
