The Big Four firm has appointed Lachlan Roos as its new UK hedge fund leader

Economia – He is taking over from Rob Mellor who is stepping down after leading the hedge fund practice for five years.  Roos, who joined PwC in 2005, is a partner in the firm’s financial services tax division.

Roos said, “It’s an extremely exciting time to be leading the team, with hedge funds’ global stakeholders – from regulators to tax authorities to investors – demanding complete transparency. As such, we are in an environment where the complete hedge fund operating model needs to be assessed, and PwC’s hedge fund team is exceptionally well placed to help our clients prepare for the future.”
