(Opalesque) London-based biotech venture capital firm 4Bio Capital has raised the first $50m for a new $150m fund to invest in “advanced therapies” such as gene and cell therapy. Dmitry Kuzmin, the managing partner, said its 4Bio Ventures II fund had achieved its “first close” and expected to start investing next month. The full $150m will be reached next year.
