Any Signs Of A ‘Market Melt-Up’?

The stock market had a mixed close last week, but bucked the normal trend for September by closing higher overall, led by the 1.9% gain in the Dow Industrials. Of the major averages, the small-cap Russell 2000 was the weakest, down 2.5% for the month. This was a surprise to many, as the trade tariffs were thought to have favored the small caps over the large cap stocks.
