CEO: Hedge Fund, ‘Shadow Managers’ Bad for P&G

(Cincinnati TV.com) Procter & Gamble CEO David Taylor praised hedge fund boss Nelson Peltz as a shrewd investor, but said he wasn’t up to snuff for the company’s board of directors. Earlier this year, Trian Fund Management acquired a $3.3 billion stake in P&G and 10 days ago nominated Peltz for P&G’s board, calling for a cultural change at the company and potentially deeper cost cuts.
