Hedge Funders Coming Around to Trump

(Barron’s) Hedge fund managers who once dreaded the prospect of a President Trump are now optimistic about his impact on the economy and their investments, Reuters reports.

Almost 75% of fund managers now believe that corporate tax cuts will lift markets, according to new a survey from Preqin. Nearly half see a positive impact on their U.S.-based assets. Managers said they like Trump’s infrastructure spending plans, and believe a strengthening economy can withstand rising interest rates.
