Celebrating five years and over $1 million of raised funds for Australian families afflicted with cancer, last night’s annual Hedge Funds Rock event really was something to rock on about. Over 550 guests embarked on HOME nightclub to formally recognise Australia’s Hedge Fund specialists and rock with Ian Moss of Cold Chisel fame, Typhoon, Shy Guys and Choir Boys.
This year’s event and Hedge Fund Directory raised an astonishing $455,000, bringing the amount raised over the past five years to $1.15 million.
The Hedge Funds Rock event supports Cure Our Kids, a children’s cancer charity providing support services for families affected by cancer as well as commissioning principal research to help alleviate the burden of paediatric cancer in Australia. Research undertaken in Australia is shared internationally, and is the key to increasing the survival of kids with cancer everywhere.
The Hedge Funds Rock event also seeks to recognise industry leaders with the presentation of the following highly coveted awards for outstanding industry performance over the past 12 months.
