LONDON (HedgeWorld.com) – Capital & Marketing International Ltd., a capital markets adviser, hired Alexander Troullier to fill a newly created vice president’s post aimed at building C&M’shedge fund and real estate marketing unit.

C&M was founded seven years ago by Christophe de Taurines, previously the European co-head of the private funds group of Credit Suisse First Boston. It provides services to the sponsors of alternative investment vehicles seeking to establish relationships with investors in Europe, Canada and the Middle East.

“The latest hire for C&M brings the total team to 10 and [C&M] is seeking to expand to meet the increasing demand for its independent alternative investment marketing services,” the company said in the statement announcing the hiring of Mr. Troullier.

Mr. Troullier has served as an associate in charge of products placements and structuring for German-speaking countries and Scandinavia, at Asset Alliance International Ltd., also in London.

He has a degree in economics from the University of London and an MBA from Imperial College.
