PetroData has won (pounds) 800,000 venture capital funding to support an international sales push for the technology it has developed to allow oil and gas firms monitor wells remotely. TheAberdeen-based fledgling will use the funding to beef up its sales activity in key markets, including North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Nova oil and gas technology fund, managed byAberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity, invested (pounds) 350,000, while the Sigma Technology Venture Fund, managed by Edinburgh-based Sigma Technology Management, provided (pounds) 450,000.
