New York (HedgeCo.Net) – Renowned hedge fund founder, adviser and author, Ezra Zask, plead guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to possessing child pornography yesterday. The plea was made in exchange for probation and registration as a sex offender, Reuters reports.
“It’s alleged in the felony complaint that … you knowingly possessed 10 videos that were downloaded on your computer, and those videos depicted children under the age of 16 engaged in sexual acts,” Judge Larry Stephen, said, according to the Daily News. “Are those charges true?” “Yes.” Zask answered.
Zask will only serve five years’ probation after admitting to possessing one video depicting a child under the age of 16 engaged in sexual acts, though 10 were found in his home during a July 2012 arrest according to a report in Bloomberg and The New York Daily News.
