Hedge Fund Manager Expands ‘The Spot Experience’

New York (HedgeCo.net) – Former NFL player and hedge fund manager Mitch Marrow has teamed up with real estate firm Rose Associates to provide luxury dog amenity services for Rose’s residential real estate portfolio in New York City.

“Our dog amenity program is the first-of-its-kind, and is a win-win for both residential real estate landlords and residents.” Marrow, CEO and founder of The Spot Experience, said, “It allows building owners to present a unique selling service to residents seeking quality service for their beloved family member – their dog, while tenants benefit from having access to the highest caliber of dog services in the city.”

As part of the partnership, Spot will offer dog services to residents in more than 30 buildings managed by Rose. This is the first deal in New York City of its kind giving residents full-scale access to both in-house and off-site pet care, providing the ultimate amenity for the dog owning tenant.

This summer, Rose is introducing “Leave it to Max,” a comprehensive concierge service.  While Rose manages a portfolio of 38,000 apartments, Leave it to Max will initially be available to roughly 4,500 residents living in nearly two-dozen Rose-managed properties.

Mitch Marrow is also head of international trading and risk management at $2 billion hedge fund Water Street Capital and Brahman Capital Corp., a $3.5 billion market-neutral, value-based, equity-driven hedge fund.
