Last year Salus Alpha made history with the launch of the Salus Alpha Equity Hedged, the first UCITS III compliant Long\/Short Equity Fund worldwide, which made it possible for private investors to profit from long\/short strategies. Investors’ positive reactions to this fund<\/span> endorsed the experts at Salus Alpha in their efforts to bring additional UCITS III compliant Alternative Investment funds to the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

With the two new funds, the Salus Alpha Event Driven<\/strong> and the Salus Alpha Managed Futures, <\/strong>the firm again defeats competition. By extending the product range Salus Alpha succeeds further in satisfying investors’ needs. The funds, like their predecessor, are UCITS III compliant and can therefore be subscribed at any bank.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Salus Alpha Event Driven<\/strong> fund invests into special situations, e.g. the current Sub-Prime crisis, in order to produce returns for investors. The fund invests in the EDX – Event Driven Index listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, which displays a performance of approximately 11% p.a with a volatility of 4% p.a since the inception of the calculation. The Index combines up to 20 highly qualified event driven managers worldwide, which ensures a correct market assessment and an optimal risk-reward ratio for the portfolio. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
