Financial Standard – Austock Securities has snapped up two directors from Citigroup\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s hedge fund sales business to start their own hedge fund sales team.<\/p>\n
Nicki Ashton and Michael Cori both worked as directors in hedge funds sales at Citigroup prior to their new role.
\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cNicki and Michael are considered in the top three in hedge fund sales in Australia and they have joined a fast-growing dynamic environment at Austock,\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d said Tim Boyle, Austock\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s chief operating officer.
Asked why they’ve set up the division, Boyle said, “The hedge fund sector is generally a growing sector. It’s a combination of a good industry, the right time and that we’ve come across the right people.”<\/p>\n
