Consequently, it is able to help identify unusual but significant market opportunities that require a number of years to come to fruition.
Job Description - Origami Capital Partners is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to take forward a novel, niche investment strategy that the candidate develops and presents through the Origami Idea Challenge. Ideally, the candidate will have the skills to assist in implementing the strategy he or she developed. The position’s primary responsibilities will be to work with the Origami team to research the underlying assets being considered for purchase, develop bids, and assist in the negotiation and sourcing of transactions. Candidates who participate in the Origami Idea Challenge and submit prize-winning ideas will have the opportunity to be considered for the positions.
Qualifications - Candidate must be: creative, independently-minded and curious; entrepreneurial and have an ability to work with a small team in an opportunistic fashion; quantitative and have strong communication skills; self-directed, detail-oriented and hardworking. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, and MBA’s and CFA’s are highly regarded.
