I'm interested in hedge funds perfomance in 1st half of '09. Is there any statistical data over the whole sector?

According to the Credit Suisse/Tremont Hedge Fund Index, the YTD performance (including June) was 7.18%.
The strongest style was Convertible Arbitrage, which has returned 23.95% YTD. Dedicated Short Bias and Managed Futures are the only two styles tracked by Credit Suisse that have negative returns YTD.
