HedgeCoVest Models Continue To Outperform the Overall Market

New York (HedgeCo.net)  – At this point in time, HedgeCoVest has 26 different models for investors to choose from on the platform. There are 12 single strategy models which are replicating a single hedge fund manager and there are 14 composite models. The composite models use the Replicazor’s technology to combine the knowledge and trading strategies of all the managers and then breaks them down to specific sectors and it breaks them down in to bullish and bearish trades.

Even with hedging techniques and bearish bets, the models as a whole are outperforming the overall market which is up so far in 2015. To elaborate, if an investor had invested an equal amount in to all 26 models at the beginning of the year, as of last Friday (April 24), they would have seen a return of 4.21% so far this year. Had an investor invested the same amount in to the S&P 500 or an ETF that mimics the index, they would be up 2.86%.

Looking at the single-strategy models, a mock portfolio invested equally across all 12 models would be up 3.94% YTD, a mock portfolio invested equally in the top 1o models would be up 4.99% and a mock portfolio invested equally in the top five models would be up 8.18%.
