New York (HedgeCo.Net) – 100 Women In Hedge Funds announced the fundraising amounts from the London, Geneva, New York, Hong Kong, and Milan Galas for charities focused on women’s and family health.

The 100WHF Inaugural Milan Gala was held at Palazzo Clerici, with the support of the Italian and International financial community. The funds raised will be devoted to Associazione CAF-Onlus’ ‘Home Visiting’ project that focuses on child sexual abuse and mistreatment prevention.
100WHF was honoured to host Oriella Dorella, étoile of Teatro alla Scala since 1986, who is always dedicated to social causes, especially those devoted to children.
Guests had the privilege to be introduced to Palazzo Clerici’s ‘Tiepolo gallery’ by Christie’s Marco Riccomini and were entertained by Teatro alla Scala artists Chiara Butté (Soprano), Giorgio Valerio (Baritone) and by the musicians Federico Allegro (Clarinet), Alessandro Andriani (Cello), Claudio Andriani (Violin and Viola), Micol Vitali (Violin).
An unscheduled ‘surprise’ performance by Butté and Valerio who were disguised as waiters and commingled among the servers rendered the Gala dinner all the more entertaining. The famous toast from Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’ and a conclusion with the amusing Rossini’s ‘Duetto buffo di due gatti’ (The ‘cat’s duet’) were also a brilliant contribution to the evening.
