Wylie Tollette, Chief Operating Investment Officer, to leave CalPERS

(Opalesque) The California Public Employees’ Retirement System today announced that Wylie Tollette, CalPERS chief operating investment officer (COIO), is leaving the pension fund to return to mutual fund giant Franklin Templeton Investments. Matt Flynn, a CalPERS investment director, will become the interim COIO. A search for Tollette’s permanent replacement will begin immediately.
