Ghahramani Launches Hedge Fund Trading Firm
Thursday, December 10, 2009 : PermalinkNew York (HedgeCo.net) – Sassan Ghahramani announced the official launch of SGX Advisors, a foreign exchange and global macro intelligence and trading firm for hedge funds, asset managers, and policy makers.
“We are living in a world where a Dubai debt restructuring affects gold and UK stocks, where Chinese economic policy impacts Euro/Yen and Australian bonds, and where Fed comments can drive the Mexican Peso as much as the US Treasury curve,” said Ghahramani, President and CEO of SGX.

Sassan Ghahramani, founder of SGX Advisors, was formerly President, CEO and board member of Medley Global Advisors, a policy intelligence firm for hedge funds and money managers, senior FX trader for Lehman Brothers, AIG, and Chemical Bank, and head of foreign exchange trading for UBS New York. SGX also offers clients foreign exchange and fixed income trade execution through its partnership with Arbor Research and Trading, an independent institutional broker dealer with offices in the US, UK and Switzerland.
