Pensions & Investments – Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System, Columbus, hired Pinnacle Asset Management to run $10 million in a hedge fund of funds, Dan Weiss, executive director of the $692 million system, confirmed in an e-mail.
An RFP was issued in September for either a hedge fund-of-funds manager or at least one equity long/short hedge fund manager to run $15 million. The retirement system’s investment consultant, Hartland & Co., recommended the amount be reduced to $10 million “to allow for additional rebalancing of the portfolio,” Mr. Weiss wrote.
