Judge orders hedge fund manager Rajaratnam to pay $92.8m in SEC case

Banking Business Review – The Securities and Exchange Commission has obtained a financial penalty of $92.8m against billionaire hedge fund manager Raj Rajaratnam for widespread insider trading.

A federal jury in May 2011 convicted Rajaratnam of 14 counts of securities fraud and conspiracy in the criminal case.
